Europa is about trying to stay in control. The performer is constantly busy bringing the contents of a fruit bowl into a reasonable order. The person clings to the names of the fruits like a mantra, hoping to finally establish a connection between the fruits. The pointlessness of this endeavor keeps them trapped in a performative loop through which they overlooks the only common feature of the objects of investigation. All fruits are edible.
